That's great: that your heart is in rhythm. It is not uncommon for people with atrial fibrillation (Afib) to go in and out of Afib and to have a normal rhythm at times. Bisoprolol fumerate is a beta-blocker; beta-blockers are often used in the treatment of Afib in order to prevent the heart rate from getting too fast while in Afib. When the heart rate is too fast, enough blood does not get to vital organs.
