A member asked:

Left groin pain. 2 weeks post op for right oophorectomy. not laproscopic. 7" incision.should i be worried?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on duration.: It all depends on the duration and severity of the pain. If the pain has been persistent since the time of surgery and not getting worse then it is normal postoperative pain and not serious. However, if the pain is of recent origin or getting worse after surgery then you should go and see your surgeon again to make sure nothing serious is happening.
