Cleanliness: You don't need to thrown everything away, but you do need to thoroughly wash and disinfect items that you use like your toothbrush. You can dip the toothbrush in a very weak bleach solution, rinse it well and let it dry for 24 hours before using it again.

No!: It is unlikely to transmit gonorrhea through everyday contacts such as towels, etc.... But for hygienic reasons its best not to share such personal items anyway!
