Can hiv transmit through toothbrush ?

Extremely small risk: The risk is extremely small and really only possible if 1) both the infected person had some gum bleeding on the toothbrush, 2) the toothbrush was used immediately afterward, 3) the uninfected person used enough force while brushing to cause some gum bleeding. It's really almost a theoretical risk (i've not heard about it actually happening).

NO: Hiv can only transmit through direct blood/body fluid contact and cannot sustain living in the air. I would say not likely, or even impossible, to transmit through toothbrush.

Very unlikely!!: Hiv travels through blood transmission. Saliva has low or no potential to transmit hiv. If two people have bleeding gums and one has hiv, and both share the same toothbrush... Yes it is possible. But if neither has gum issues, the probability of transmission is about the same as sharing eating utensils. Get an HIV test buy another toothbrush and stop worrying!
