Probably yes: Depends on the type of work you do. If you are breathing ok and you feel like going to work, then you should be fine. Also if you work in a dusty/polluted environment, you may want to change your working environment. Most importantly, STOP smoking if you are a smoker

Why not ?: This is not something you can spread to others. Some degree of it is likely to persist for the remainder of your life, so your decision becomes more how do you work with it. Asthma itself can appear in adults to have many of the features of chronic bronchitis, so your label may change slightly but your limits should not.
