A member asked:

My dad 52 year old had burning sensation while urination though his urine report and psa test are normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many ideas: Urinalysis will pick up only a bladder-type infection. PSA isn't going to give information helpful in finding the cause of burning on urination. This can be due to anything from eating spicy foods to having chlamydia to mild chronic prostatitis. Often the cause is never found. Unless it is very painful, it's unlikely to indicate serious illness.
