Strep throat?: If you are concerned that you have strep throat, see you doctor. He/she may be able to do a screening test. Strep needs to be treated with antibiotics. All the best.

Difficult issue: Viral agents cause most of the issues you report, but strep is still possible.You are still in an age group where untreated strep might lead to significant heart,kidney and nervous system complications down the road if untreated. Even strep may feel better in a day or two, but feeling better doesn't change the risk. Time for you to go see doc.
