Best thing: Is to have it looked at by podiatrist or dermatologist. They can examine, possibly with dermascope and decide if benign or or not and if it needs a biopsy and or excision.

Stay focused.: You probably don't have to act immediately, but the next time you are at your doctor's office, have him(her) take a look. If the lesion shows rapid change in size, color or texture, the you should be seen sooner.
