Pregnancy and food: It is not unusual to eat different foods when pregnant. Spicy foods are not dangerous although for some women the spicy foods can give heartburn. If you like food spicy there is no reason not to eat spicy food, maybe with the chili peppers you are getting more vitamin c and iron absorption. In pregnancy it is important to double the water intake, stay hydrated, and eat a balance diet.
