Dr. John Chiu answered

Stop Singulair (montelukast): Singulair (montelukast) has been known to cause neuropsychiatric effects even though the incidence is quite low. You need to stop taking it immediately and contact your doctor to find out what may be the alternative. You will also need to find out whether this is something like a transient ischemic episode totally unrelated to Singulair (montelukast).
