No relation: Singulair (montelukast) acts as a suppressor / preventer for your asthma / allergies, it does not impact your other breakthrough or preventer meds at all. Use your mdi(s) and/or nebulizer as prescribed by your dr.

Yes you may: If your asthma is acting up, you can nebulize with albuterol. If you need it more than twice a week, your asthma is not under good control. You should be taking a stronger controller medication than the singulair (montelukast). Schedule an evaluation with your doctor so together you can work out a plan for daily medication. If symptom triggers are unknown then, ask your doctor to refer you to an allergist
