A member asked:

Is strength training with weights safe if the heart and body are healthy enough according to a physical exam or always considered unsafe?

Exercise! Exercise!: Part of becoming & staying health is eating healthy food & exercising regularly. Physical fitness is comprised of strength, endurance/aerobic, flexibility & balance. So if you've been deemed healthy, then exercise to your heart's content. But be sure to start slow - light weights, low repetitions, shorter duration. Work w/physical therapist if you have any joint or other issues.
