Important: You should do the following - consult with an endocrinologist to use a weight neutral medication for diabetes such as metformin, sitagliptin, Victoza (liraglutide) or similar, canagliflozin or similar. These will reduce weight and improve diabetes. Also start a medicine like lisinopril or losartan to reduce protein in urine, consult with a nephrologist/ kidney doctor.
