Wait a Bit: you might have slept so that you were pressing on the lip and teeth. If it isn't gone after a few days, see your dentist.

Rule out abscess: see your dentist for examination and x-rays to rule out tooth abscess or nasopalatine duct cyst. If not a dental cause, see your GP for neurologic examination.

Call: Call your Dentist for an examination. Could be from abscess, gum disease, bone or tooth fracture, or naso-palatine duct cyst. If dental causes ruled out, then your PCP may need to rule out neurological medication, or systemic causes.

Sinus Issues ?: Stuffy nose? Allergies? Although the problem might be dentally related, it may also be caused by pressure on certain nerves due to sinus congestion.
