Black specs in mucus: Were you in an area of soot? Are there are specs of bright red blood? Any abodminal discomfort/ gastritis? How long have you been coughing? i would lconsider follow up today with urgent care just to have someone look at the sputum and get a more thorough histoyr. f/u w/ doc.
