Other options: The manufacture’s warning label on Trokendia states that it may lower the effectiveness of birth control pills. How much effect is unknown and controversial. I usually suggest other forms of birth control to hep alleviate any fear or anxiety. Essure is a great permanent non hormonal option if you are done having children. Mirena (levonorgestrel) or Paragard are two popular IUDs to consider.
