Several things: You did not give much detail about the pain so it can be anything from referred pain from the back, myofasical pain, restless leg, neuropathy or even vascular insufficiency. Discuss with you doc.

Need more info: What type of pain? Where is the pain? Is it in your calfs? How much do you weigh? Do you exercise? Is there any swelling? It would be good to see your doctor for an examination.
