Calcified granuloma: Evidence of old healed infection. Nothing to be worried. Tb quantiferon will be positive if our body has ever seen "tb bacteria". This is not evidence of active tb. Calcified granuloma means evidence of old healed infection. Could mean old healed tb, healed histoplasmosis ( midwest us) etc. You will be likely offered a chest x ray to rule out active TB and 6 mo of inh antibiotic ( not obligatory ).

Get checked: It is always better to know; it sounds like you may have latent TB infection; this is where TB has been sequestered away inside a granuloma, and causes no symptoms. You can get treated for this to eradicate the TB with a long course of one antibiotic (or a shorter course of two). There is no reason to be scared; just proceed with the test.
