Ans: If you are an epileptic I do hope you are taking your medication. Now what is the etiology of the epilepsy? Did you have head trauma? You need to see your doctor for a thorough exam and most likely a head scan.

Get a firm diagnosis: The reason for the discomfort would dictate the treatment. Bad tension headaches are treated different than migraines which are treated different from atypical seizures which are treated differently than intracranial pathology. Some migraine meds are available in nose sprays/ shots. Many meds can be compounded to dissolvable tables or suppositories or even transdermal creams 2 bypass swallowing.
