If a 6 days severe head and neck ache was caused by meningitis, wouldn't other symptoms have occurred by now?

Head & neck pain: severe head & neck pain alone without other symptoms of meningitis is very unlikely to be meningitis. You can't ignore these symptoms, something wrong is going on, You must see your doctor or a neurologist or go to ER ASAP. Feel better.
