Talk to your doctor: When the forearm and hand don't develop quite right, there can be other effects nearby. Talk to your doctor to see how much weakness there is and which specific muscles, from the shoulder to the fingers, are affected. Together then you can decide whether you need a referral to a neurologist.

Maybe: It could be the missing thumb and radial bone but you should still see a doctor if you are concerned, especially if it's a new finding. Start with the ortho doctor and he/she can refer you to neurology if needed.
