Rule out hernia: The biggest concern that I'd have is for any kind of hernia present. If the pain intensifies, there is a mass/bulge in your groin abdomen, nausea/vomiting, or inability to have a bowel movement then I would go to an emergency room for evaluation. If the pain subsides, I would still be seen by your physician.
