Was it an ectopic?: There is not enough info here to answer. If your doctor diagnosed you with an ectopic pregnancy then immediate treatment with surgery or a medication called Methotrexate was warranted. If the doctor is uncertain then typical a follow up BHCG is done as well as a repeat sonogram to determine if the pregnancy is too early to be seen, a miscarriage or an ectopic. Follow up in your case is warranted
