Amoxicillin: As long as you are not allergic the Penicillin family there should not be a problem. All the best.

Yes: Aspirin is the one drug I encourage asthmatic patients to avoid using, due to data suggesting a significant frequency of sensitivity in this group of patients. You can have an allergic reaction or intolerance to any med, but I would not avoid amoxicillin based on an asthma diagnosis.

Yes: Yes asthmatic patients can take amoxicillin unless they have allergies to penicillins or “beta-lactams”. Typical signs of allergic reactions to medication may include chest tightness and wheezing, which could worsen asthma symptoms if an allergic reaction does occur.
