Not really: But the Prednisone should kick in soon and tou should have an inhaler. I would consider daily singular which works for asthma and allergy symptoms. If u need ur inhaler more than 2x per week you need more treatment and singular is excellent if you respond. Gd luck.

A few ideas: Your medications sound appropriate for your diagnoses. What i did not hear you mention was that you are using your asthma inhalers regularly. This is key, of course, for your lung health. Also inhalation therapy of steam scented with menthol or herbs can be helpful for both lungs and sinuses. And have an adult try percussion-lightly pounding your chest with a cupped palm to loosen the phlegm.

N-acetylcysteine,: called NAC, may help. It is the name for the active ingredient in Mucomist. See Wikipedia. You can obtain capsules OTC (600 mg). It is effective for loosening secretions if taken orally--and it is good for you--it helps prevent lung inflammation, and is a free-radical scavenger. Interestingly, it is also the treatment for acetaminophen poisoning. Guaifenesin is hardly better than a placebo.
