More time: Were you started on Amoxicillin for a respiratory infection? It will take longer to "feel" better or for you to notice the symptoms improving. Two days is not enough time for the medicine to get into your system to start fighting off the bacteria. Keep taking your antibiotics as prescribed as well as any other treatment your provider suggested. If no relief in 4-5 days then return

Unknown: Since amoxicillin is not an asthma treatment, why you are taking it is not clear. Are you on regular asthma meds ? Was this a secondary infection that aggravated your asthma ? You need to clarify what you are treating with your doc, your issues are not clear the way you report it.
