Unclear plan: It is not clear why you are taking the pill and the IUD. Sometimes this is done when one experiences breakthrough bleeding while on Mirena (levonorgestrel). If that is not the reason then I would clarify with the prescribing physician why you are doing both things. If you are not satisfied with the level of bleeding then they can discuss alternatives. They can also check that your IUD is in the correct position
