Hives???: There are several kinds of URTICARIA. Some are due to allergy. You have left out too much for an educated guess. See a dermatologist. Meanwhile try 1 or 2 cetirizine (Zyrtec) a day. If that makes you sleepy, try 1 or 2 loratadine (Claratin).
