DontGiveAnyLipOnThis: Better have it checked, especially if you've been in the sun a lot. It could be the beginnings of a little skin cancer (which is easy to treat if caught early) or a pre-cancer (which is easier to treat). Maybe it's just super-dry skin but why take any chances? Just get it seen by a dermatologist. And the rest of your skin, while you're at it. I learned all this the hard way...
