A member asked:

Why dose my ears pop and cracking noise when i blow my nose and swallow anything ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Air pressure: There is a small connection between your nose and ear called Eustacian Tube. Blowing the nose allows some air pressure changes to happen and the feeling of popping in ear results. This is usually a good thing as it keeps the inner ear inflated. Scuba divers use this technique to help pressure build up in their ears.
