Variable time: I am most familiar with lumineers where I have placed some that are well beyond 15 years and counting. Service life is variable depending on the type of bonding adhesive, veneer material, and the bite as well as patient habits. Your doctor should be able to answer this question based upon their experience. When lumineers came out, the company actually referred patients to our office!

Not really: Veneers are really only as good as the dentist that inserts them. There are many materials that veneers are made of that allow them to be thinner and more esthetic. If they are placed properly in your mouth and you are cautious about not abusing them they will last many years!

No: Mac veneers are a brand name of a type of veneer. They are extremely beautiful, but if your dentist isn't checking your bite and making sure that it is ok, no veneer will last. Veneers longevity is determined by how well they are done, and how you use them and take care of them.

Any Veneer: All veneers last depending upon so many factors from your diet, homecare, to your decay rate, periodontal disease condition, infection, etc. If you have great homecare, and avoid super crunchy britte foods, and wear appliances if you brux, clench, and/or grind and you go see your hygienist and dentist regularly, your veneers should last a long time.
