Use creams!: Good morning, allergy to nickel and colophony are contact allergies and are treated by application of local steroid (cortisone) creams. Antihistamines are usually not helpful as histamine not the agent involved in these types of contact allergies. Antihistamines are beneficial for allergies due to pollens, molds, dusts, etc.
