Stop Dangerous D2!!!: The 50,000 iu form of D is vitamin D2. I don't know why doctors prescribe this as research shows it increases mortality by 2% whereas vit D3 reduces mortality by 6%. I advise stopping dangerous D2 and taking over-the counterD3- most adults need 5-8, 000 iu/day to achieve optimal levels of 50-80; best to take with Vit K.See http://tinyurl.com/6qgpd24 Please share this info with the prescribing Dr.

Vitamin D.: Vit. D supplementation is usually quite tolerable, but I can't argue with the coincidence of its dosing with your symptoms. Some blood testing and an abdominal ultrasound to assess your liver may be wise. That being said, I always preferred daily lower dosing of vit. D3 (1000-2000 units daily) rather than the weekly mega-dose of D2 - makes more sense to me physiologically.

Very unlikely: If it persists stop Vitamin D for 2-3 weeks and see if symptom go away and add back again and see it comes back
