Don't drink so much: There are no pills/supplements/treatments that "protect" your liver from alcohol. None. If you're drinking so much that you're worried about your liver, then you're drinking too much. The only way to protect your liver from the damage done by excessive alcohol consumption is to curtail your alcohol consumption, because early on, the damage is reversible. Liver damage: Eat a healthy diet. Take multivitamin supplements with added thiamine, vitamin d-3 and do not smoke or use drugs and decrease the amount of alcohol you drink each day. Always eat when you drink.

Vitamin moderation: There no vitamins that have been proven to prevent liver damage from chronic alcoholism. In persons who drink heavily and have poor dietary habits, vitamin b and folate (folic acid) deficiency is common. Replacement can prevent neurotoxicity, but not liver toxicity. The best approach is to drink in moderation and consume a well balanced diet.
