Good thinking!: To simultaneously cleanse and repair the gut, I use a modified elimination diet (no gluten, dairy, or soy), anti-inflammatory plant based protein powder (eg opticleanz ghi or biocleanse), and tons of fresh vegetables. Specific natural substances - glutamine, n-aceyl cysteine, zinc, carnitine, taurine, curcumin - either separately or bundled may also help. And of course probiotics (s. Boulardii).
