In glaucoma if target eye pressure is met, is it possible pressure won't need to be lowered further so that adding a 2nd drop won't be necessary.

Yes: As long as there is not ongoing damage to the nerve fiber layer or visual field that would indicate that the target pressure was not low enough.

Yes: If target pressures are decided on a rational basis (taking into account disc status, age, visual field, corneal thickness) in primary open angle glaucoma, it is certainly possible that the target can be achieved with only one pressure-reducing drug.
