You are doing it: Emollients and topical steroids are the most important elements of treatment for prompholyx eczema and it sounds like you are responding well. Unfortunately it is a chronic disease and can be treated but not cured.Avoid contact with detergents cleansing agents by using cotton lined rather than rubber gloves and wash your hands with luke warm rather than hot or cold water.Allow the skin to breathe.
