I accidentally used shampoo (head and shoulders) on my scrotum, thinking it was moisturizer. i left it on overnight and woke up burning. does not appear to be blistering but is very painful. im obviously not wanting to see a doctor lol. burn creams?

irritant dermatitis....can try aveeno oatmeal baths. it's an otc product available in most pharmacies. If not better in day or 2, would see dermatologist for dx and tx.

even if you soak the affected area in plain water, it would be helpful. However, the oatmeal bath technique is worth pursuing, dissolving a 1/4 of a packet in a tub of very warm water, soaking 20mins

You can wash it off, stop using it and let you doctor know. It is a mild steroid cream for the rash but it seems you are not tolerating it.
