What is a growth scan for in pregnancy? will they check my baby's heart? i wanna know the heart rate! what will they measure in this scan? i'm 34weeks

Growth scan: A growth scan is an ultrasound to see that the baby is growing appropriately. They will take various measurements from which they will compare to those from a previous ultrasound to be sure they have grown enough and not too much. The baby's heart beat should be checked at each visit and you can ask what it is even without a scan. It should vary just as yours does. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
