Needs medical checku: Nodules in the lung can be benign(if they are not growing in size over years). But if they are new or growing they can be related to the joint problems(Arthritis? Rheumatoid arthritis can be the cause also). Cancer is a consideration if the nodules grow in size over 1-3 month period of time. You need to have her checked by a good internist or family doctor to find the cause and guide her further.
