I have got an infection in my mouth and the affected area has become white. please suggest.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Could be thrush or: I am not sure what infection you got, but traumatized area in mouth often turns whitish while healing. Aphthous ulcer (picture=canker sore--which is painful) are typically white as well. Some people do get thrush (fungal infection--as white patches in mouth) when taking antibiotic for bacterial infections etc...So, i can't tell for sure what you have from the info given. Consult doc. Good luck.
