I'm online now. type your question here. the diagnosis is stage 4 rectal ca w/mult lesions of the liver-is postponing chemo 1-2 weeks to go on a trip going to cause less chance of survival? 62yo w female in good health otherwise

Ask your oncologist : The answer to this depends on many factors, most particularly how aggressive the tumor is and how well the oncologist expects it to respond to the planned therapy. I think a frank discussion with your oncologist would be your best bet before deciding whether to delay treatment or not. Good luck.
