Taking 7.5mg 2/day of buspar (buspirone) for a week now. made me very drowsy. took half and still got drowsy with some chest tightness. get smaller doses? or stop

Consider what effect the Xanax (alprazolam) and herbal supplements you are taking may be having. Xanax (alprazolam) is a potent medication that can cause excessive drowsiness rather than relieving anxiety. Buspar is not great at reducing anxiety.
