= trichotillomania,: just a term for the behavior, a form of self-attack, shifting attention from ideas/feelings which are more difficult for person to admit/recognize/solve yet distracts & offers recurring perceived partial relief (thus repetitive) from unpleasant feelings involved. Research & seek help worthy of your trust for this mental/emotional behavior which is not solving problems, indeed adding new ones.
