Fluids, "Azo" drug: Lower urinary symptoms of UTI (burning urination, urgency, pain over the bladder) can be helped by drinking lots of fluids, forcing high flow of urine. Over-the-counter drugs like Azo® and other brands also can help; look for active ingredient phenazopyridine. But if you also have fever, flank pain, or abdominal pain, don't wait until tomorrow.
