Very safe,no,16 mg: Biotin has many benefits. While deficiency is rare, there may be benefits to taking relatively high doses. It's not known to be toxic and has no side effects. There is no "max dose" considered dangerous but the highest dose researched is 16 mg/day (which is safe). Unless you are diabetic no need for so much.
