A member asked:

Is it true that if constipation were induced by multiple sclerosis then it would be accompanied by neurological symptoms at the same time?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Commentary: If you had significant inflammation of spinal cord, associated with weakness of both legs, constipation would be expected, but isolated bowel dysfunction is NOT a presentation of MS.
