Possible: As long as your sty is resolving and the pain lessening, I would continue the hot compresses & lid massages. Sometimes a little bleeding can result if the sty has broken through the gland into the adjacent capillaries (like a pimple). But, if no umprovement with your treatment or if worsening, have it checked out by an ophthalmologist. Good luck.
