A member asked:

Hi doctors if a person was jaundice would it be hard to tell or easy because im not sure how yellow eyes have to be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Can be subtle: It can be subtle. Darker-skinned people can have a natural yellowish-tinge to the sclera ("whites") of their eyes which may be normal, but if there is a change from a persons usual skin tone or eye color and it becomes more yellow, that would be a reason to seek medical evaluation.
