Hmmm...: Not everything in medicine is black and white. Maybe you met criteria for gastroparesis on one study and not on the next. Then both would be right. Typically gastric emptying test is positive if there is gastric retention of >70 percent at two hours and of >10 percent at four hours. Stress and medications play a part. Many cases of gastroparesis have no identifiable cause.
